چکیده
In this paper, we propose a new method to solve the minimization problem in simultaneous reconstruction and segmentation (SRS) model for X-ray computed tomography (CT). The SRS uses Bayes' rule maximum posteriori (MAP) estimate on hidden Markov measure field (HMMFM). original [Romanov M, Dahl AB, Dong Y, Hansen PC. Simultaneous tomographic with class priors. Inverse Problems Sci Eng. 2016;24(8):1432–1453] includes subproblem logarithmic-summation (log-sum) term, which is non-separable classification index. This was solved by Frank–Wolfe algorithm, very time consuming especially when dealing large-scale CT problems. starting point of paper commutativity log-sum operations, where could be transformed into sum-log introducing an auxiliary variable. corresponding separable. By applying primal-dual turns several easy-to-solve convex subproblems. addition, introduce improved adding Tikhonov regularization model, give some convergence results proposed methods. Experimental demonstrate that methods produce comparable compared much less CPU time.

Fast 3D reconstruction method for differential phase contrast X-ray CT.
We present a fast algorithm for fully 3D regularized X-ray tomography reconstruction for both traditional and differential phase contrast measurements. In many applications, it is critical to reduce the X-ray dose while producing high-quality reconstructions. Regularization is an excellent way to do this, but in the differential phase contrast case it is usually applied in a slice-by-slice mann...
متن کاملFast Splitting-Based Ordered-Subsets X-Ray CT Image Reconstruction
Using non-smooth regularization in X-ray computed tomography (CT) image reconstruction has become more popular these days due to the recent resurgence of the classic augmented Lagrangian (AL) methods in fields such as totalvariation (TV) denoising and compressed sensing (CS). For example, undersampling projection views is one way to reduce radiation dose in CT scans; however, this causes strong...
متن کاملSimultaneous segmentation and reconstruction for dual-energy CT: Experimental results
Dualor multi-energy computed tomography systems that can provide improved material identification are of great interest in airport luggage screening. While dual-energy luggage scanning systems are commercially available, dual-energy reconstruction remains challenging because data sensitivity varies greatly depending on the material parameter being estimated, and because prior information about ...
متن کاملA Hybrid Method for Segmentation and Visualization of Teeth in Multi-Slice CT scan Images
Introduction: Various computer assisted medical procedures such as dental implant, orthodontic planning, face, jaw and cosmetic surgeries require automatic quantification and volumetric visualization of teeth. In this regard, segmentation is a major step. Material and Methods: In this paper, inspired by our previous experiences and considering the anatomical knowledge of teeth and jaws, we prop...
متن کاملIterative reconstruction methods in X-ray CT.
Iterative reconstruction (IR) methods have recently re-emerged in transmission x-ray computed tomography (CT). They were successfully used in the early years of CT, but given up when the amount of measured data increased because of the higher computational demands of IR compared to analytical methods. The availability of large computational capacities in normal workstations and the ongoing effo...
